Neck, Side, and Armhole Shaping
Note: Neck and side are shaped at the same time, then neck shaping is continued while armhole shaping is worked; neck shaping will not be completed until shortly before beginning shoulder shaping. Please read entire section through before beginning.
Neck Shaping
Next Row (RS, dec): K2, ssk, k to last 4 sts, k2tog, k2.  [55 (61, 67, 73, 79, 87) sts] 
Cont in St st and working decs as established, dec 1 st at beg of every 6 (6, 6, 4, 4, 4)th row 14 (11, 7, 30, 26, 20) times more, then dec 1 st at beg of every 4th row 6 (10, 17, 0, 0, 0) times, and then dec 1 st at beg of every RS row 11 (15, 16, 14, 22, 34) times.
Side Shaping
AT THE SAME TIME, cont to work neck shaping as established, dec 1 st at end of every 8 (8, 6, 6, 6, 6)th row 3 (4, 5, 6, 6, 6) times, then work end of rows even until piece measures 8 (8½, 8½, 9, 9, 9)" from CO edge, ending WS row complete, then inc 1 st (m1) 2 sts from end of every 8 (8, 6, 6, 6, 6)th row 4 (5, 6, 7, 7, 7) times,
then work end of rows even until piece measures 13½ (14, 14½, 15, 15, 15)", ending RS row complete. 
Armhole Shaping
Cont to work neck shaping as established at beg of rows, work armhole as follows: BO 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) sts at beg of next WS row, then BO 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) sts at beg of next WS row, and then BO 1 st at beg of next 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3) WS rows. [18 (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) sts when all shaping is complete] 
Work armhole even until it measures 7½ (7¾, 8, 8½, 8½, 8½)", ending WS row complete.
Short Row Shoulder Shaping
Row 1 (RS): K to last 6 (7, 7, 7, 8, 9) sts, turn work and make a tight YO ahead of the first st.
Rows 2 & 4 (WS): Purl.
Row 3: K to last 12 (13, 13, 14, 15, 16) sts, turn work and make a tight YO.
Row 5: K all sts, closing gaps as they are reached by knitting the st after the YO together with the YO. Place sts on holder.  [18 (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) sts]
